Chateau Animaux in Washington, DC   Chateau-Animaux is Washington, DC's largest independent pet supply store. Located on Capitol Hill, the store is open:

Monday through Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m
 
Our self-service dog wash closes one half hour before the store closes.

Our Grooming Salon is open by appointment, starting at 8:30 a.m. Monday, through Saturday.

  Chateau-Animaux is conveniently located on Historic Barracks Row, Capitol Hill, Washington, DC, at 733 8th Street, SE, Washington, DC 20003

We are on 8th Street, SE, bordered by the Navy Yard on M Street, SE, and Pennsylvania Avenue, SE. There is plenty of on-street parking.

Metro: The closest Metro is Eastern Market (Blue & Orange Lines).  Alternatively, get off at the Navy Yard stop (Green Line) or the Union Station stop (Red Line), then take the Circulator Bus to 8th Street, SE.
